I was at a mi ne today for work. Can’t say why, but it does involve this big boy. I asked half jokingly if I could take my Kia Forte into the pit . They laughed and said “if you want to destroy your car”. Oh, if only they knew.
I took an F- 150 instead.

My grandpa had a place like that in NV, it was huge and had giant machinery going all over the hills . They called it The Pit. My grandpa had a lot to do with building tons of gas stations in the west, post WWII when people started driving a lot in the 50's.
